The design inside the bowl is Under the Wave off Kanagawa by Katsushika Hokusai.
Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849) was an ukiyo-e artist who was active in the late Edo period.
Katsushika Hokusai's representative works include ``Great Wave'' and ``Red Fuji.''
