The eleven-faced Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva is a bodhisattva with eleven brains, and is said to cure illness and forgive sins.

In each of these processes, skilled craftsmen demonstrate their mastery of their craftsmanship, and their collaboration results in the creation of a single formative beauty.
The casting process requires a degree of skill cultivated over many years, to the extent that the temperature of the molten metal is measured “by eye.
