The beautiful kiln-changed navy blue makes the food stand out. The glaze changes color in the kiln, and some bowls have glaze pools, unevenness due to light and dark shades, pinholes, iron powder, and surface irregularities. Each finished product has a slightly different appearance, but this is a characteristic of Japanese pottery.

What is Mino ware?
It is a general term for ceramics produced in the Tono region of Gifu Prefecture, Japan. It is one of Japan's most representative traditional pottery, with a history of about 1,300 years.
