The Tokoname-yaki Kyusu teapot is made with elaborate tea strainers.
It is a “traditional technique” that Tokoname ware Kyusu is proud of, which was created by craftsmen working hard.

Tokoname: One of the six ancient kilns in Japan, a town of pottery colored in history.
Located on the west coast of the Chita Peninsula facing Ise Bay, Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture, is the gateway to Chubu Centrair International Airport.
It is known nationwide as a pottery town with a long and narrow terrain of 6km east-west and 16km north-south.
Tokoname ware, which has a history of 1000 years, is one of the six ancient kilns in Japan.
